Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible to develop, implement and maintain documented procedure (SOP/WI/Checklist) of production
  • Responsible for the control of production, inspect the implementation of relevant specification (output, wastage target etc.), maintain good production order and discipline
  • Prepare production report (output, wastage, manpower etc.) and submit on time base on the timeline set by management
  • Initial approach to improve quality and productivity base on 4M analysis. Responsible for improving the unachieved targets/performances, improper process flow and non-conformance.
  • Investigate through root cause analysis and carry out an action plans to reduce downtime, wastage and customer rejection
  • Coordinate and work closely with related parties to resolve production issues and interface problems and ensure proper operation (effectiveness and efficiency) of the production line
  • Support on-going production activities and provide routine technical support and expertise to manufacturing personnel
  • Initiate training program for production staff to improve productivity, efficiency and cost saving
  • Responsible in promoting, maintain and execute tasks for good manufacturing practices
  • Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of product non-conformity through proper documents of SOP/WI/Checklist, process flow chart, FMEA, etc
  • Ensuring teamwork and good rapport with colleagues and cooperate with other section of department to ensure the work is performed with quality and efficiently
  • Special working conditions such as shift, overtime, or as-needed work based on requirements that are job-related and consistent with business necessity
  • Assist in any other duties required from Production Department from time to time
  • Undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc job / project as and when required from time to time

Job Requirement

  • Diploma/Degree in Manufacture Engineering/Business studies/Administrative or relevant qualification
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in Production, Operation or Manufacturing or in the related field
  • Knowledge in ISO 9000/ ISO 14000 / ISO 13485 will be added advantage
  • Knowledge on flexographic or offset printing
  • Knowledge of production tools and equipment (conveyor, carton sealer, rollers etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office application (particularly Excel, Word and Power Point) and strong in data analysis skill (statistic chart etc.)
  • Good Details oriented with good analytical skills and meticulous
  • Hand-on experience to develop and carry out process improvement strategy across production
  • Familiar with SOP, WI, Checklist, FMEA and Control Plan
  • Preferably proven experience on preparing and analysis type of production reports
  • Production management skills focus on quality, wastage and output improvement
  • Has the ability to identify areas for improvement to optimize 4M utilization
  • Good problem solving skill and strong work ethic
  • Good communication skill and interpersonal skills is required to liaise with wide variety of people
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Manpower and leadership skill in manage different races of worker
