Job Responsibilities

  • Review the stocks in detail to achieve highest level of efficiency and accuracy in Inventory Management
  • Highlight to the management in the event of any stock inaccuracies, discrepancies and problems
  • Control inventory levels by reviewing data recorded in tracking system, retrieving data, designing reports and taking corrective actions
  • Maintains historical record keeping by tracing historical records of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records
  • Coordinate with the Purchase department and Sales department for stock collection and delivery on time
  • Monitor picking and packing process before outgoing of goods
  • Monitor arrangements with trucks for incoming and outgoing of goods according to lead time set by management
  • Upon receiving, ensure all products are properly labelled, stored and information uploaded into relevant systems
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing SOP and protocols
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security of warehouse
  • Maintain the trucks and warehouse equipment in good conditions
  • Responsible in providing good leadership to the work group to attain departmental and site objectives for safety, quality, delivery, costing and people management
  • Develop strategies for greater operation efficiency
  • Provide relevant training, support and development for all staff within the logistics, warehouse and production planning operations
  • To monitor and follow up daily activities including coordinate with forwarding agents and 3PL warehouses for Import and Export Shipment
  • Able to manage expectations from superior

Job Requirement

  • Minimum Diploma in Manufacturing Management/Warehouse Management/Logistics Management or relevant qualification
  • Minimum 5 year working experience in logistics, warehousing or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment or related field in added advantage
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office application (particularly Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge in manufacturing management
  • Knowledge in logistics management
  • Multi-task, versatile and adaptable to changing situations
  • Familiarity with SQL/ WMS/ WRP would be added advantage
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Able to work independently and good time management
  • Able to work in fast pace environment
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
